About Ta'ameya - Sustainable Middle Eastern Inspired Food

Pronounced

Tah-May-Ah

Our namesake is uniquely Egyptian.Ta’ameya — Egypt’s version of falafel — is a dish as old as the Pharaohs.Made from fava (broad) beans, it’s crisp on the outside, fluffy inside, and bursting with fresh flavour. Similar yet distinct — and far more ancient than its chickpea cousin — we reckon Egypt got it right the first time.
